| (b) setting-up of producer groups, producer organisations or interbranch organisations to 10 % of the annual marketed production of the group or organisation with a maximum of EUR 100 000 per year; that support shall be degressive and limited to the first five years following recognition. | (b) setting-up of producer groups, producer organisations or interbranch organisations to 10 % of the annual marketed production of the group or organisation with a maximum of EUR 500 000 over 5 years; that support shall be degressive and limited to the first five years following recognition. |
Due to various crises such as extreme weather conditions in recent years, many agricultural producers were unable to reach their planned production and marketing levels, resulting in the underutilization of the annual support of up to EUR 100,000. Thus, adjusting the current support structure from an annual ceiling of EUR 100,000 to a total ceiling of EUR 500,000 over 5 years would allow for the recovery of previously unclaimed amounts and a more efficient absorption of EU funds, without altering the objective.
Amending certain CAP Regulations as regards the conditionality system, types of intervention in the form of direct payment, types of intervention in certain sectors and rural development and annual performance reports, data and interoperability governance, suspensions of payments annual performance clearance and controls and penalties
