Parliament adopted four resolutions on human rights crises and workers' rights, covering Thailand, Sudan, Azerbaijan, and restructuring, all passed with broad support.

  • Thailand human rights: Parliament urged Thailand to amend its lese-majesty law, release detainees, and stop deporting Uyghur refugees, linking trade talks to reforms. Backed by EPP, S&D, Renew, Greens, ECR, The Left; opposed by Patriots and ESN.

  • Restructuring and workers: Parliament adopted a resolution on protecting jobs during restructuring, calling for social dialogue, training, and a fair green and digital transition. It stressed involving trade unions and ensuring quality jobs.
