| 1. No later than five years after the entry into force of this Regulation, and every five years thereafter, the Commission shall carry out an evaluation of this Regulation and shall submit a report to the European Parliament and to the Council. The evaluation shall assess, in particular: | |

| (h) Supporting, in synergy with other programmes, training and educational programmes for the upskilling of healthcare and public health workforces, and programmes for temporary exchanges of staff, in particular with the aim of improving their digital skills, including support for the development and deployment of digital training platforms, online learning systems and ICT-based simulation tools; | |
| (i) Supporting the establishment and coordination of Union Reference Laboratories, Union Reference Centres, and Centres of Excellence; | |
