Warmly welcomes the Commission proposal to open negotiations on extending the EU ‘roam like at home’ regime to Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia; calls on the Council to swiftly authorise the opening of negotiations with the Western Balkan partners; emphasises that extending the ‘roam like at home’ area to the Western Balkans would deliver tangible benefits to citizens and businesses alike, fostering people-to-people contacts, boosting economic ties, supporting educational exchanges and facilitating tourism; | 59.
